Israeli authorities have announced that Qatar-supplied fuel deliveries would resume on Wednesday, October 24. They had been suspended following violent clashes that broke out on the Gaza-Israel border on October 12, which led to the border being fully closed on October 17.
Border crossings were reopened to goods and people on October 21; however, Israeli forces continued to prevent the shipment of dozens of truckloads of goods, including fuel, in the following days.

Israeli authorities reopened the Erez and Kerem Shalom crossings between Israel and the Gaza Strip on October 21; the border crossings had been closed since October 17, after several rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel.
