UK: Far-right march and counter protest in London October 13

Event

The far-right linked group Democratic Football Lads Alliance (DFLA) will hold a march on Saturday, October 13, to protest "Islamic extremism." Participants will gather at 13:00 (local time) at Park Lane, before marching to Whitehall. Counter protests have been organized by the Stand Up To Racism group; they will depart from Dalston Kingsland Station or Old Palace Yard between noon and 13:00 and converge on the DFLA demonstration. Localized clashes between rival groups and/or with security forces cannot be excluded.

Context

A similar march held in October 2017 resulted in low-level violence between DFLA supporters and counter protesters.
