Opposition groups to hold demonstration in Tbilisi against election results on December 2; associated disruptions expected

A protest organized by an opposition alliance led by the United National Movement (UNM) is set to take place in the capital Tbilisi on Sunday, December 2, to denounce the results of the November 28 runoff presidential elections. Participants will gather at 15:00 (local time) on Rustaveli Avenue. Localized transportation disruptions are possible; clashes between protesters and police, or with possible counter demonstrators, cannot be ruled out. Further protests are possible.
Context
The ruling Georgian Dream party's candidate, Salome Zurabishvili, won the second round of presidential elections against Grigol Vashadze of the UNM. Opposition groups have denounced alleged irregularities.
