Taxi driver strike to be held in Tunis on November 26 following killing of taxi driver; associated demonstrations possible

Unions representing taxi drivers have called for a strike to be held in Tunis on Monday, November 26. According to local sources, the strike is being organized to protest the killing of a taxi driver during a robbery on Friday, November 23. Associated demonstrations are possible in Tunis. Transportation disruptions are expected during the planned strike, as well as higher demand for alternate means of transportation.
