Burundi: Demonstration in Bujumbura December 15

The central government organized a demonstration in Bujumbura on Saturday, December 15, to protest allegations of torture by security forces presented by the UK television station BBC. According to a local reports, demonstrators marched from the United Nations roundabout to Independence place. Government officials indicated additional actions would be taken until the BBC withdraws the report.
