Israel: Women’s protests against violence Dec. 4

Nationwide protests are ongoing in several Israeli cities - including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Beer Sheva, etc. - on Tuesday, December 4, to denounce violence against women and what is perceived as government inaction. Roadblocks and transportation disruptions have been reported in several urban areas. As of 13:30 (local time), disruptions were also reported at Ben Gourion international airport (TLV) due to a related strike.

The main rally is set to be held in Tel Aviv at 19:30; participants will march from Levinsky Park to Rabin Square. Associated road disruptions are expected.
