Jordan: Dead Sea Highway reopened to most traffic December 21 /update 1

The Dead Sea Highway (Highway 65) was reopened to most traffic on Friday, December 21, after authorities closed the route due to recent heavy rainfall and rising water levels. The route has been opened to vehicles that weigh less than 5 tons (e.g. most traffic except for large trucks and transport buses).
