Suspected Islamist militants reportedly attacked the village of Ingonae located in the Macomia district (Cabo Delgado province) on Wednesday, December 26. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack as of December 28, although the Ahlu Sunna Wa-Jamo/Ansar Al-Sunna (Shabaab) group is highly suspected.
