Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out raids in Ramallah on Thursday, January 10, marking Israeli troops' fifth consecutive day of raids in the West Bank. Associated clashes broke out between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian residents in Al-Masyoun district of the city which left at least four Palestinians wounded; Palestinian youths reportedly threw stones at Israeli soldiers who, in turn, fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the demonstrators. Similar raids by Israeli forces are possible in the West Bank over the coming days.
