Global Baku Forum to take place in Baku from March 14-16; heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions expected

The seventh edition of the Global Baku Forum will take place from Thursday, March 14, through Saturday, March 16, at the Nizami Ganjavi International Center in Baku. Numerous heads of states, including Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, President of Moldova Igor Dodon, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyevwill will attend. A heightened security presence is expected, along with street traffic restrictions, in the vicinity of the event. Disruptions are also possible at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD).
