Customs officers to continue striking until at least March 12; associated disruptions expected

The strike launched by French customs officers on Friday, March 8, is expected to continue until at least Tuesday, March 12. As such, significant disruptions to Eurostar services are being reported as of Monday, March 11, notably at Paris' Gare du Nord and Lille Europe train stations. Other disruptions on transportation services to the UK, including at the cross-channel ferries and the channel tunnel are to be anticipated, notably at the ports of Calais and Dunkirk. Associated disruptions are also possible at Paris airports.
