Tunisia: Demonstration reported in Tunis April 11

Dozens of protesters have reportedly gathered outside the Government Palace in Tunis on Thursday, April 11, to denounce employment grievances. Local reports indicate at least one protester attempted to self-immolate at Place du Gouvernement; security forces extinguished the fire before transporting the protester to the hospital. A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are to be expected in the La Kasbah area over the coming hours.
