The Alliance of Patriots of Georgia (APG) opposition party is calling for daily protests to be held in Tbilisi from Monday, May 27, through Saturday, June 15, to demand a reduction in defense spending and a reallocation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) funds to local businesses. The daily protests are set to be held at Freedom square from 17:00 to 19:00 (local time).

Heightened security measures and localized traffic disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the demonstration site.
