EVA Air canceled hundreds of flights as of Saturday, June 22, through at least Friday, June 28, due to an ongoing strike by flight attendants. The strike is affecting approximately half of the airline's operations and is affecting around 20,000 passengers. The Taoyuan Flight Attendants Union (TFAU) and its members are expected to continue the strike though at least Saturday, June 29, when a union vote will be held. Demonstrations near the EVA Air headquarters in Taipei are also possible in the coming days.
