Tangkuban Parahu volcano erupted on Friday, July 26. The eruption caused ash to reach a height of about 200 meters (656 ft) above the peak. Authorities have advised to keep a 1.5 km (1 mi) distance from the volcano. While no evacuations were issued, authorities did warn of the possibility of additional eruptions in the coming several hours and days.
