Police officials confirmed that a second victim may be linked to the knife attack in Sydney’s Central Business District on Tuesday, August 13. According to the initial investigation, the body of another individual was found in a building off of Clarence street. The suspect is believed to have killed the first victim, then stabbed another woman in a random attack near King street around 14:00 (local time). Members of the public detained the suspect before police officers arrived at the scene. Some lanes on King and Clarence streets remain blocked as of 19:30 due to the ongoing investigation. Localized traffic disruptions are expected to continue in the coming hours.
