A Palestinian car-ramming attack wounded two Israelis near the Israeli settlement of Elazar (West Bank) on Friday, August 16. Israeli police reportedly shot the assailant dead around the scene of the attack.

Similar Palestinian car-ramming attacks targeting Israelis are possible in the West Bank over the near term.
