Russia: Military warehouse explosion prompts evacuations in Krasnoyarsk Krai region August 5

Two explosions were reported at a military warehouse near Achinsk (Krasnoyarsk Krai) on the evening (local time) of Monday, August 5. Media reports indicate that authorities have issued evacuation orders for three localities near the warehouse, suspected to be a weapons storage facility. Two people have been reported injured.

A heightened security presence is to be expected in the immediate and surrounding areas.
