Australia: Significant train service delays in Sydney September 25

Technical issues have caused significant delays in Sydney on the T1 North Shore and Western, T2 Inner West and Leppington, T9 Northern, Blue Mountains, and Central Coast and Newcastle lines on Wednesday, September 25. Buses have been dispatched to supplement some of the affected train services between Campbelltown and Macarthur, Hornsby and Berowra, and Schofields and Richmond.

Transportation delays are expected to last throughout the evening (local time). Increased road congestion is also to be anticipated as commuters seek alternative means of transportation.
