Typhoon Bualoi is expected to impact the Ogasawara Islands from Friday, October 25, through Saturday, October 26. As of 15:45 (local time) on Tuesday, October 22, the storm is located at approximately 18.2°N 144.4°E (map here) with maximum wind gust speeds of 252 kph (157 mph) and tracking northwest at 20 kph (12 mph).
Associated power outages and disruptions to transportation and business services are possible in areas forecast to be affected by the typhoon.
