The US Geological Survey (USGS) recorded a 6.6-magnitude earthquake approximately 14 km (8 mi) east of Bual on Mindanao Tuesday, October 29. According to the USGS, the quake hit around 09:04 (local time) at a depth of 15 km (9 mi). There were no immediate reports of damages or casualties. Details are still emerging.
