Tunisia: Heavy rainfall causes flooding in Tunis area October 27-28

Heavy rainfall fell in the Tunis area on Sunday night (local time), October 27, into Monday, October 28, causing flooding in Tunis, Ben Arous, Ariana, and Manouba. Consequent transportation disruptions have been reported on roadways in the capital area and on the Tunis Métro.

Lingering disruptions to transportation and business are to be expected in the Tunis area over the coming hours.
