EU lifts ban on Turkmenistan Airlines flights on October 16; flights to European countries to resume in the coming weeks

The European Union announced on Wednesday, October 16, that the ban on flights operated by Turkmenistan Airlines, implemented on Monday, February 4, has now been lifted. According to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EUASA), an on-site audit held in Ashgabat has shown that the airline is now compliant with international safety standards.
The airline stated that flights to Frankfurt should resume as of Saturday, October 26.
