President Donald Trump is due to hold a rally in Dallas (Texas state) on Thursday, October 17. Participants will gather at 19:00 (local time) at the American Airlines Center. A democratic presidential candidate, Beto O'Rourke, has called for a counter-rally on the same day. O'Rourke's supporters plan to meet at the The Theatre in Grand Prairie from 18:00. Several other civil society groups have also called for counter-protests, and participants plan to gather directly outside the American Airlines Center from 18:00.
