Philippines: 5.7-magnitude earthquake strikes off the coast of Jomalig November 7

The US Geological Survey (USGS) recorded a 5.7-magnitude earthquake around 43 km (27 mi) east-northeast of Jomalig (Quezon province) on Thursday, November 7. The quake hit at around 04:52 (local time) at a depth of 10 km (6 mi). No tsunami warning has been immediately issued. Aftershocks are possible in the affected area over the coming hours and days.
