Tropical Storm Ramon triggers domestic flight cancelations November 15; further transportation disruptions likely in the coming days

Tropical Storm Ramon, forecast to make landfall in northern Luzon between Saturday, November 16, and Monday, November 17, has prompted domestic flight cancelations as of Friday, November 15, notably in Manilla, Basco, and Naga.
A tropical cyclone wind signal (TCWS) N°1 has been issued on Thursday, November 14, in Divilacan, Palanan, Dinapigue, Dilasag, Casiguran, Dinalungan, Polillo Island, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Eastern Samar, and Northern Samar. Further, RCWS N°2 has been raised over the Catanduanes island.
Light to moderate rain, with occasional heavy rain, is forecast in the Bicol and Quezon regions and in the eastern parts of Isabela and Cagayan. Associated flash-floods, landslides, and other disruptions may occur.
As of 17:00 (local time), Ramon was located 460 kilometers (285 mi) east of Tuguegarao City (Cagayan) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph (40 mph). The storm is moving north at a speed of 15 kph (9 mph).
Further transportation disruptions are likely in the coming days.
