Blast at the National Monument complex in Jakarta wounds at least two security personnel on December 3; avoid the area

An explosion occurred in the National Monument complex in central Jakarta at approximately 07:05 (local time) on Tuesday, December 3. According to initial reports, at least two soldiers were wounded in the blast. Security forces are deploying into the area and traffic is being diverted on Jl. Merdeka Timur near the blast site.
