As of Tuesday, December 31, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an air travel advisory for all US-registered aircrafts traveling in Kenyan airspace due to militia activity. The FAA warned that aircrafts could be targeted by militia anti-aircraft weapons when on the ground in airports or flying at low altitudes. Authorities announced that the advisory will be reviewed in February.
