VBIED detonates in Kabul February 26; similar incidents possible over the near term

According to local sources, a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) detonated in the Darulaman Road area in Kabul on Wednesday, February 26, at around 15:45 (local time). The explosion reportedly killed two civilians and wounded eight others.
