One person has died and several others were injured in Jenin on Thursday, February 6, following clashes between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers. The military was in the area to destroy the home of a convicted person as per policy, when the group threw stones at them. The soldiers proceeded to use live ammunition, injuring six and killing the 19-year-old.

A heightened security presence is to be expected in Jenin over the coming hours.
