Jordan: Protest scheduled in Amman February 7 /update 1

The National Alliance to Confront the Deal of the Century has scheduled a protest in Amman for Friday, February 8, to voice its opposition to US President Donald Trump's proposed Middle East peace plan. Participants are expected to gather in a square across the road from the American Embassy following afternoon prayers.

Associated transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the protest, as well as the possibility of a heightened security presence.
