At least 500 people were impacted by heavy rainfall and associated flooding in the central provinces of Sofala and Manica as of Tuesday, February 18. According to media reports, at least two people were killed in Sussundenga District on Monday, February 17.
Rain and associated flooding are expected to continue across northern provinces over the next 24 hours.
Associated disruptions, including transportation disruptions, infrastructure damages, and power outages, are likely in the affected areas over the coming days.
