A grenade attack killed at least one person and injured 11 others in the Gasabo district of Kigali on Thursday, May 7. The incident took place in a barbershop in the Ndera sector at around 17:30 (local time), where the man who detonated the grenade was reportedly a regular customer.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway. However, preliminary findings have ruled out terrorism as a motive.
