Rebel offensive kills 32 government soldiers in Sahl Al-Ghab (Hama province) May 10; further clashes likely in the near term

Rebels reportedly killed 32 government soldiers in Sahl Al-Ghab (Hama province) on Sunday, May 10, during an offensive. Reports indicate 13 rebels were also killed in the fighting. Rebel forces reportedly took control of Tanjara village and regime forces then launched a counteroffensive to try and regain control of lost territory.
Further clashes are likely in the near term.
