Tropical Storm Gonzalo has weakened as it moves west-northwestward into the Caribbean on Saturday, July 25, prompting the National Hurricane Center (NHC) to cancel the tropical storm warning in place for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Moderate to heavy showers are forecast in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Saturday, with 50-70 mm (2-3 in) of rainfall expected, as well as strong winds and rough seas. As of 11:00 (local time), the storm was 90 km (55 miles) east of Trinidad (Trinidad and Tobago), with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph (40 mph). The storm is expected to remain small and to lose power as it heads over the Caribbean.

Heavy rainfall, flooding, rough seas, and high winds remain possible in parts of the Windward Islands.
