Tunisia: Security forces kill militants in Akouda (Sousse region) September 6

Security forces killed three militants during an operation in Akouda (Sousse region) on Sunday, September 6. The National Guard launched the operation after a soldier was stabbed to death and one other was injured during an attack on a patrol in the area. Security forces surrounded the assailants who hid in a school and killed all three during the subsequent clashes.

Further security operations and attacks in the area cannot be ruled out.
