US: Protest scheduled in Louisville (Kentucky) for September 5

A protest demanding justice for an African-American woman, Breonna Taylor, who was killed by police on March 13, 2020, is scheduled to take place in Louisville on Saturday, September 5. The protest, which is due to coincide with the annual Kentucky Derby horse race, is expected to be well attended. Timings or specific locations have yet to be announced, however, possible protest locations include Central Avenue, around Churchill Downs, Baxter Avenue, and Cox's Park.

A heightened police force and National Guard presence are to be expected around the demonstration, as well as associated disruptions to transportation.
