Syria: US airstrike kill multiple suspected militants in Idlib governorate on October 22

Event

At least 14 people were killed in a US coalition airstrike in Jakarah (Idlib governorate) on Thursday, October 22. The airstrike was reportedly targeting a meeting between Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) militants in the village, which is located near the border with Turkey.

Further airstrikes in Idlib governorate are possible in the near term.
