Two official events will take place in Taipei's Zhongzheng District and Anping Harbor, Tainan, on October 10 to mark Taiwan's National Day. In Taipei, the event will consist of the annual National Day Parade and a speech by President Tsai Ing-wen. In Tainan, events will be held at Anping Harbor from 14:00 (local time).
The events are expected to be very well attended. A heightened security presence and localized disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the events. Significant travel delays should be anticipated from October 8 - 12.
