Gunman takes several people hostage in Tbilisi November 20

Emerging reports indicate that a gunman has taken at least nine people hostage at a microfinance organization in the capital Tbilisi on Friday evening, November 20. Reports indicate that the organization is located on Akaki Tsereteli Avenue in the capital. A police operation is underway. There were no immediate reports of any casualties, and it is not immediately clear whether the assailant is working alone. Further information is awaited.
