Indonesia: Supporters of religious leader gather in Bogor regency November 13

Thousands of activists gathered in Bogor Regency (West Java province) on Friday, November 13, for a lecture by prominent Muslim cleric and leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Rizieq Shihab. The participants gathered at Pondok Pesantren Alam Agrokultural in Megamendung district, with a separate gathering reported in the Simpang Gedog area.

Security forces are in attendance at the gathering and have erected checkpoints and cordons, as well as closing roads and diverting traffic. Localized disruptions are expected to continue in the coming hours.
