The Irbid Electricity Company has announced that electricity cuts will occur in the Umm Al Quttayn and Al Mukayfitah areas of Mafraq Governorate 1030-1600 Feb. 11 for maintenance works. Residents may experience lingering disruptions through the evening of Feb. 11.

Temporary commercial and communications disruptions, including cellular services, are possible during power outages. Traffic disruptions may occur in some areas due to malfunctioning traffic signals. Trains may also experience delays if outages impact signaling devices or overhead wires. Power outages could also result in the temporary unavailability of essential services such as ATMs and gas stations.

The affected areas are around 78 km (48 miles) southeast of Irbid in Irbid Governorate.
