Maldivian authorities have extended the ongoing nightly curfew 2000-0400 across Addu city through at least March 3 due to increased COVID-19 activity. Further extensions are possible. Violators of COVID-19 rules will face fines of up to MVR 5,000 (USD 325). Officials could amend measures at short notice, depending on COVID-19 cases.
