Philippines: Water disruptions to occur in parts of Metro Manila's Valenzuela City, 1200 Feb. 14-0500 Feb. 15

Utility provider Maynilad Water Services announced that water outages would occur in parts of Valenzuela City, Metro Manila, and southern Bulacan Province 1200 Feb. 14-0500 Feb. 15. The disruptions will affect 24 Valenzuela City barangays, as well as the Catanghalan area of Bulacan Province. The agency attributed the disruptions to maintenance works.

Business disruptions are possible during water outages, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water for their operations.

Stock up on drinking water and confirm alternative water supplies for business operations. Use only bottled water from reputable suppliers for drinking and hygienic purposes. Pressure and water quality may be poor after service resumes; run taps for several minutes before using water. Minimize nonessential water use throughout the outage.
