Missile strikes near the towns of Al-Bab and Jarabulus in Aleppo Governorate reportedly killed at least one person and injured 10 others on March 5. The missiles reportedly targeted oil refineries in the area, causing explosions and large fires. There have been no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack. Turkish forces and allied fighters who oppose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad control the area.

Al-Bab is around 38 km (24 miles) northeast of Aleppo city. Jarabulus is around 100 km (62 miles) northeast of Aleppo city.
