A magnitude-5.2 offshore earthquake occurred in the Coral Sea off central Vanuatu at 20:14 March 14. The epicenter was about 91 km (57 miles) west-northwest of Port-Vila, Vanuatu. The tremor occurred at a depth of about 10 km (6 miles), and weak-to-light shaking was probably felt throughout central Vanuatu. There have been no initial reports of damage or casualties as a result of the earthquake, and significant damage is unlikely.
