The Gaza-based militant group Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack, which allegedly consisted of over 100 rockets; at least 10 interceptions were reported over Tel Aviv. Flight disruptions are ongoing at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) as a result of the rocket barrages; flights have reportedly been diverted to Ramon International Airport (ETM) near Eilat.
