Officials in Idaho, US have lifted all remaining COVID-19 restrictions as of May 13.

Warning

Event

As of May 13, officials in Idaho have lifted all remaining COVID-19 restrictions, due to decreases in infections and hospitalizations, and increases in the percentage of the population vaccinated against the virus.

Idaho has moved to Stage 4 of the Idaho Rebounds plan, under which all remaining guidelines to limit the number of people allowed in gatherings are lifted. Authorities continue to encourage the population to get the COVID-19 vaccine, use facemasks and maintain social distancing measures. Businesses can operate without capacity limits.

While restrictions at the state level have all be lifted, officials in the city of Boise continue to require organizers of gatherings or events with more than 50 people to obtain a permission from local health authorities.

Authorities could reimpose, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice, depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
