Aruba: Authorities ease COVID-19 restrictions as of June 10 /update 27
Aruba eases several COVID-19-related domestic controls and international travel restrictions as of June 10.
Event
As of June 10, Aruba has further eased some domestic COVID-19-related restrictions and lifted most country bans for international travel; however, most other requirements for arriving passengers remain largely unchanged.
Under the relaxed measures, casinos may now operate until 01:00 and most other establishments can remain open until 23:00. Closing times do not apply to hotels serving guests. The beaches are no longer restricted zones at night; however, an alcohol ban remains in place and individuals may have alcoholic beverages on the beach only if they remain within the premises of bars or restaurants. Restaurants may have a maximum of eight adults per table indoors or 10 adults per table outdoors. Nightclubs remain closed.
Individuals are still required to use facemasks in most indoor spaces and establishments, and should maintain a distance of 1.5 meters (5 feet) between each other. All businesses must enhance sanitation and hygiene protocols. Some industries may be required to adhere to additional sector-specific requirements.
International Travel Restrictions
As of June 10, international travel is permitted from all countries and regions, except for Venezuela. The following enhanced health screenings and requirements remain in force for all arriving passengers:
All travelers are required to complete a digital Embarkation-Disembarkation Card (ED card) and must purchase mandatory COVID-19 health insurance before travel.
Arrivals aged 15 and over must provide a negative result from a molecular COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before departure for Aruba.
Any persons arriving without a negative result from a molecular COVID-19 test will be tested at the airport at their own expense, followed by a mandatory quarantine period of up to 24 hours in their accommodations while awaiting test results.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on local disease activity.
