Increased security likely in the Na'ur region of greater Amman, Jordan, through at least June 6 following reported riots.

Authorities will likely maintain an elevated security posture in the Na'ur region of the Greater Amman Municipality through at least June 6 after reported rioting in the area. At least four members of the Jordanian security services were injured late June 5 while responding to disorder, burning vehicles, and shootings in Na'ur. Law enforcement officials have released no statement concerning what may have sparked the unrest.
Na'ur is located approximately 11 km (7 miles) from central Amman.
